School Break Camps (TK-5th)
School Break Camps (TK-5th)- Summer 2025 Now Enrolling
I am ecstatic to introduce our revamped summer camp! TBS's Summer Camp will be THE place for Jewish summer day camp experience in Central Alameda County! Our camp blends all the fun of classic summer day camp with Joyful Judaism. It will build a lively Jewish community, full of engaging, exciting activities and fun traditions, to build lasting memories. All are welcome, no previous experience with Judaism required. Campers get to dive into hands-on learning experiences, create new friendships and discover how they can shape a kinder, brighter, greener future while having a blast!
Each week will have a unique theme tied to a Jewish value for the campers to learn and play through, with either a field trip or a visitor based on that theme. For example, for our Little Critters week dedicated to learning about animals and caring for them, we might have a visit from a veterinarian so that the campers can learn more about the work veterinarians and their staff do for our furry (or feathery or scaly) friends!
One of the best parts of Summer Break is being able to play outside everyday! So in addition to our field trip each week, we will also spend our mornings offsite at a local or regional park. Drop off will be at TBS, then we will transport to the park of the day, spend our morning playing games at the park, have lunch, then return to TBS for thematic activities in the afternoon through pick-up.
Lastly, responding to survey feedback, we are adding the option for early drop-off and a late pick-up, each for a small fee. Early drop off will be at 8:30am, and the late pick up will be at 5:30pm.
Below are the weeks that we will be offering camp:
June 16th through June 20th, excepting June 19th in observance of the Juneteenth holiday
- June 23rd through June 27th
- July 7th through July 11th
- July 14th through July 18th
- July 21st through July 25th
- July 28th through August 1st
We will not be offering camp on the week of June 30th through July 4th because our survey did not indicate enough interest in camp for that week for us to be able to support the week.]

Join us for an evening of tranquil reflection, an evening of poetry and song that introduces us to the themes of the High Holidays. Selichot is the gateway to our prayers of repentance, forgiveness and renewal that mark both Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.
