TBS offers many mitzvah opportunities for members to invest themselves in and help steer our organization. Committees are a great way to get involved. Many committees also help to amplify our mission and our community impact by involving us in local community work as well as the larger Jewish community. 

Current Committees Include:

• Ritual Committee: Works closely with the Clergy, Board of Directors, and Executive Director to arrange ritual preparations for services, onegs, and life cycle events. This includes maintaining the yahrzeit calendar, managing a list for healing prayers, making sure there are basic oneg supplies, and assisting in prep for major holidays such as the High Holy Days.    

• Tikkun Olam Committee: This committee, guided by the mission of the organization - repairing the world - identifies and leads efforts to support our community and our earth. 

• Membership Outreach and Engagement Committee: This committee welcomes new members, supports the infirm, organizes meal trains, periodically calls to check in on members, and brainstorms ways to keep everyone engaged and connected. 

• Fundraising Committee: Collaborates closely with the Executive Director and Treasurer to establish annual fundraising goals. Designs and implements fundraising initiatives throughout the year to achieve these goals. Works alongside the Board of Directors, Executive Director, and Finance Committee to plan the annual Mitzvah Pledge Drive.
