It is with joy and gratitude that we announce that Rabbi Josh Weisman will be joining us as the next Rabbi of Temple Beth Sholom, beginning on July 1, 2022.
 
 Rabbi Weisman will bring both continued tradition and innovation to our growing community. As an experienced Rabbi, he will facilitate a spiritual grounding while helping TBS define its role in the changing landscape of synagogue life. His experience as a community organizer around climate and social justice will support, lead, and further our work in Tikkun Olam and as a climate-focused resilience hub. He is poised, with his wide reaching Jewish network, to further plug TBS into the Jewish landscape of the East Bay and beyond. As we had a chance to see at his Shabbaton, Rabbi Weisman will well-partner Cantor Hirschhorn on the bimah and in program design. His ability to connect will support us spiritually as individuals and as a community through life’s joys and challenges.
