TBS Heritage School- Jewish Education After School, School Break Camps, and More.

TBS Heritage School programs provides a safe place for children to come as they are, grow in their compassion, and invest in their Jewish identity. At our synagogue campus we enjoy a spacious outdoor area, classrooms, and a full library. All are welcome!

TBS After School

Students will thrive in this program that includes general after school curriculum as well as Jewish education.  We provide opportunities for reading, homework, creative arts, critical thinking games, and physical activity. Our instructors are dedicated to instilling strength of character, confidence, empathy, and engagement based in Jewish values.

We offer specialty instruction in the areas of Hebrew, Jewish culture, Jewish history, and Torah. For those on the path to becoming a B. Mitzvah,  our after school program ties seamlessly in with the B. Mitzvah program.

Our program currently provides transportation from three nearby elementary schools: Roosevelt, Washington, McKinley.

You will find more information about pricing, policies, and schedule on the APPLICATION form (link below).

2022 School Break Camps

Temple Beth Sholom will be holding three separate week-long day camps this summer!

Modah Ani (Giving Thanks Camp): November 21st-23rd : This camp will focus on community service and different ways to give thanks and express our gratitude. We will be doing a community service activity of litter clean up in the neighborhood around Temple Beth Sholom every day along with activities that go along with the theme of Modah Ani.

Cooking Camp: January 2nd-6th: This camp will be a celebration of the senses! We will be learning lots of new and fun healthy recipes to engage all of our senses to really experience food in a whole new way. We will be learning all about food from how it’s grown to how it becomes fuel for our bodies. We will be making a new recipe every day, including some classic Jewish recipes to expand our personal menus!

Below you will find the application to camps and additional information. These camps are open to all children, not just those in the programs, so invite your friends!
