TBS Heritage School- Jewish Education After School, School Break Camps, and More.

TBS Heritage School programs provides a safe place for children to come as they are, grow in their compassion, and invest in their Jewish identity. At our synagogue campus we enjoy a spacious outdoor area, classrooms, and a full library. All are welcome!

TBS After School

Students will thrive in this program that includes general after school curriculum as well as Jewish education.  We provide opportunities for reading, homework, creative arts, critical thinking games, and physical activity. Our instructors are dedicated to instilling strength of character, confidence, empathy, and engagement based in Jewish values.

We offer specialty instruction in the areas of Hebrew, Jewish culture, Jewish history, and Torah. For those on the path to becoming a B. Mitzvah,  our after school program ties seamlessly in with the B. Mitzvah program.

Our program currently provides transportation from three nearby elementary schools: Roosevelt, Washington, McKinley.

You will find more information about pricing, policies, and schedule on the APPLICATION form (link below).

2022 Summer Camps

Temple Beth Sholom will be holding three separate week-long day camps this summer!

Superhero Camp June 20th-24th: It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it's a camp! This camp will explore what gives each of us our superpowers and how we can celebrate our differences to make positive changes in the world, just like our heroes! We’ll also explore the Jewish origins of American comic books. There will be daring feats, comic book creations, super-secret missions, and lots and lots of cool costumes!

Wildlife Camp: June 27th-July 1: It’s a jungle out there! This camp will be nature-based as we explore all animals native to the area and Isreal and maybe some that are not so native but fun to learn about. We’ll do everything from dissecting owl pellets to safari charades, from the biggest animals to the smallest bugs, it’s going to be a wild ride!

Art Camp: July 11th-July 15: What even is art--let’s dive in! This camp will be looking at lots and lots of forms of art. One minute we’re doing pointillism the next we are practicing our improv skills with an emotional tea party. There’s gonna be music, Israeli dancing, painting, drawing, sculpting, theatre, cooking, and so much more. Get those fridges cleared because we are about to fill them up with new masterpieces!

Below you will find the application to camps and additional information. These camps are open to all children, not just those in the programs, so invite your friends!
