Founded in 1886, TBS has been serving San Leandro and the greater East Bay community for almost 140 years! With the appointment of a new Rabbi, a commitment to climate action and social justice, preschool and after school programs that serve our community, TBS is looking to have an even greater impact in the next few years!

TBS is a mentor resilience hub in San Leandro's resilience hub network, and is working towards certification as a California Green Business. With a community that reflects the diversity of the greater Jewish community of the East Bay, TBS plans to continue leading by example in programming and community partnerships.
